In that context and as part of the Taipei International Design Open Call Tu/e and TUM received funding for the development of a smart table equipped with sensors and mechatronics. The smart table will be exhibited in Taipei and both Tu/e (Prof. Lu) and Tum (Prof. Bock) will give lectures and talks in Taipei. It is planned to integrate the table later on with the REACH data gathering system as an additional ambient sensing system (e.g., for detection of nutrition habits and energy intake).
