On the 10th of October DIN and UNE, German and Spanish national standardization bodies, invited REACH to Brussels to discuss standardization in context of research framework Horizon Europe. Prof. Thomas Bock, as the coordinator of the REACH project, presented the results of REACH’s standardization activities. He pointed out that standardization will reduce cost, increase investment security and provide the REACH partners with information advantages in the future market. They further discussed how norms and standards may function as evaluation criteria to measure the level of successful technology transfer.
