TUM is one of Europe’s top universities committed to excellence in research and interdisciplinary education. TUM’s Chair of Building Realization and Robotics researches, teaches, and consults in the field of advanced construction and building technologies with a particular focus on technology assisted living and care. The Chair plays a key role in several European national level projects.
In REACH the chair is responsible for the overall project management and the embedding of sensors and assistive devices into the targeted home, care, and rehabilitation settings. Furthermore, the chair will assist with the seamless integration of mobilisation and training devices into the target settings. The chair will carry out technology verifications in its test environment and team up with pilot use-case partners to further develop and test- deploy REACH’s sub-systems in pertinent and use-case relevant scenarios.
