Asia (in particular, particular China due to its one-child policy), its rapidly increasing amount of elderly (ageing society challenges are considered in some parts of Asia to become even more challenging than that in Europe), and its rapid economic development can be seen as one of the largest markets for products for elderly. The REACH consortium is well prepared to extend its exploitation and communication/dissemination strategy beyond Europe to Asia with several consortium embers engaged in active collaboration with Asian companies, universities, and governmental bodies.
